Odoo.sh: Triggering a refresh of the data in your UAT / Test system

If you have access to Odoo.sh, then it is possible for you to trigger a refresh of the data in your test / UAT database

IMPORTANT: Before doing this, note the following:

  • If Junari has deployed changes to UAT that are not yet in your Live system, following the steps below will remove those changes from the UAT system, because a copy of your Live database will be restored to UAT.

  • Depending on how many / what type of changes there are in UAT that are not in live, you may experience errors in UAT after restoring the live database, which will need to be fixed by Junari running a command to update the UAT database after it has been restored.

To refresh your UAT database from Live, do the following

1. Identify which of the "Staging" branches is your UAT database. This will normally be the branch with the lowest number (i.e. the next release number)

To be sure, click the branch, then click the Settings tab, and make sure that the Custom Domain is the UAT domain, as shown below

Now that you have identified the UAT branch (AWD-REL0001 in the above example), click the "Builds" menu at the top of the screen

Then click the "Rebuild" button next to the UAT branch on the screen that appears

The status of the rebuild will then be shown back in the "Branches" area, you will need to wait about a minute or so for the build to complete.
