Viewing the Customer Portal or Shop as a Customer

Sometimes you may want to check what a customer's view of your Portal or Web Shop is like.

"Impersonating" a Portal User

If you are an administrator and have been granted the "Impersonate" permission, then if you go into Settings -> Users, and search for Portal Users, you should see an "Impersonate" link.

Clicking the Impersonate link will then switch you to viewing the system as that user account.

To switch back to your own user account, you will need to Log Out, as shown below

NOTE: This will only log out your session - if the user is logged in elsewhere, they will remain logged in.
