< Back to Article ListHow does 'Add shipping' work; can we just add 'Carriage' as a line on the order?

Full Question
-We require more explanation of the 'Add shipping' function. Can we just use 'Carriage' as we did before (as a line on the order?)
-Can the carriage type (EGM or Rangeball) be automatically decided based on the selected company? This is how the old CRM works.
(We see that on the new system, we can select the carriage for EGM or Rangeball - this could create some confusion/errors at our end).
-Shipping cost needs editing after we get a firm quote (when the order is already confirmed).
Answer from Junari
In older Junari systems, we allowed you to add products from both divisions into the same sales order by default.
In the old system you would select the Division first (in the Default Accounts System field) and then the available products would be filtered by division, hence only seeing EGM or Rangeball carriage when the corresponding division is selected and you add Carriage to the order.
If needed we could...
- Add a division field at the top of sales orders where you pick the division first, then the products are filtered
by the appropriate division. This would then only show EGM or Rangeball products when adding lines to the order.
- With regards to shipping costs, they can be edited on a confirmed order before invoicing, no problem
