When does stripe sync to Xero and Xero to Juniper to update invoices?

Question:

We have a new way of customers ordering, where we import the orders and send them payment links with their invoices, there is no capture in stripe button.

When does stripe sync to Xero and Xero to Juniper to mark the invoices as paid so we can dispatch the goods?

Answer:

If you have a Bank Feed set up in Xero that pulls in the Stripe payments, you'll just need to make sure the the Order Reference from Odoo is used when capturing the stripe payment, so the payment can be reconciled with the order / invoice.

The normal Xero Payment sync will then pick up the payment status of the invoice from Xero in the normal way.

The invoice number should be fine too. Xero is clever enough to use things like the payment date and amount to match payments to invoices.
