Creating Xero Invoices and supplier invoices from CRM

Last updated: 25 September 2023 at 16:43:21 UTC by Junari Assistant

  • In CRM go to Invoicing and create a new Customer Invoice

  • Select the Customer (or a contact from a company) that has previously been Linked or Created within Xero

  • Enter any Reference and the Invoice Date you wish to use

  • Enter the Invoice Lines. Make sure that the correct Account and Tax are selected

  • When you are ready to transfer your invoice to Xero, click the Post button.

The Junari Xero Integration will check at this point whether all information is valid for Xero, and will warn you if there are any problems. If it all looks good, then the invoice will be posted into Xero, and the Xero reference will be displayed in CRM:

NOTE: Currently invoices are NOT automatically “Authorised” in Xero, to allow your bookkeeper to review them.

Creating supplier invoices follows the same flow as creating sales invoices, the only difference is you go to Supplier Invoices in the CRM
