Prerequisites
You need to enter some required information on the record in CRM before you can transfer it into Sage 50:
Company or Individual name
Street address and Post Code
Phone and E-mail address
In the case of Companies, you also need to create an Invoicing Address on the Contacts & Addresses tab
Creating the new account in Sage 50
In CRM, go to Contacts and create a new contact (or select an existing one) that matches the requirements above.
Click the Sales and Purchases tab
Click the Link to Sage 50 button, the Link to Sage 50 Window will appear
In the Action drop-down, select Create New Sage 50 Account
You can let CRM generate a new Sage 50 Account Code for you. To do this, leave the Auto-Generate A/C tickbox selected. If you’d prefer to enter a Sage A/C manually, untick this box.
Click the Link to Sage 50 button and CRM will create the new Sage 50 account
Once complete, the new customer’s Sage details will be shown on the Sales and Purchases tab
Now that this customer is created in Sage, you can start creating Invoices against it
