Installing the Junari Sage 50 Link Software

Sage 50 Accounts (including the "Cloud" edition) is a Microsoft Windows application that needs to be run on a Desktop PC or a Windows Server

The Junari Sage 50 Integration is a Microsoft .Net application that needs to be installed on a Windows Desktop or Server machine which has your Sage 50 Accounts system installed. This service uses the Sage 50 API to access your Sage database, then communicates with your Junari system via the internet.

Installing the Junari Sage 50 Integration

The Sage 50 integration will need to be installed by Junari staff. Before we can do this, we'll need you to find out about the following for us:

Prerequisites

You will need to work with your IT team to:

• Decide which desktop PC or server you will be using to run the Junari Sage 50 Integration service

• Organise (temporary) remote access to this machine for Junari to install and test the integration service

• Establish a process whereby Junari can request further remote desktop access to the server, when

  • there is a support issue that we need to investigate

  • a new version of our Sage 50 integration service is available

  • a new version of Sage 50 is to be installed, as our Sage 50 service will need to be upgraded at the same time

  
  

We will also need to know in advance what version of Sage 50 you are currently using. This can be seen in the "Version" column on the Select Company screen, as shown below:

Once the above information is available, please contact us and we'll arrange a date to have your Sage 50 integration enabled.
